Module Generator: Use tasks

Modified on Thu, 2 Apr at 4:20 PM

Task management in your module works just like in other Q.wiki modules (e.g., Protocol or Risk Management). You can differentiate tasks by type, add comments, and attach files.

Task types

Each module has context-specific task types to choose from. Your module owner can customize these types at any time – so tasks always fit your use case.

Flexible fields

Unlike other Q.wiki functions, task target date and owner are not required fields in module tasks. This makes module generator tasks particularly flexible and useful for a wide range of scenarios.

Using tasks in templates

If your module uses templates, you can create tasks directly in the template. These tasks are automatically copied into every new element – saving you time when working with recurring task lists.
