Module Generator: Create and edit elements

On the module overview page, you can create a new element. The button label can be customized in the module configuration and may differ from the image shown.

Create a new element with a template

If the template function is enabled, you can use the button to create a new element with or without a template. Choose an existing template or start with a blank element.

Create a new element without templates

If the template function is disabled, a new blank element is created automatically. You are taken directly to the edit mode.

Important: Some functions like editing tasks or uploading attachments are only available after you save the element for the first time.

Edit an element

If you have the required permissions, you can open and edit an element at any time. Click the Edit button above the page header.
