Comments vs. remarks

Comments on the Page

In a change proposal for a page, you can add comments. This allows you to share information directly in the process with the page owner without having to formulate it yourself within the process.

How Comments Work

  • The page owner automatically receives a notification about comments on their pages. You can manually add other users to receive notifications as well.
  • Comments should be processed as content within the workflow or removed before the final approval.
  • During final approval, these comments can be deleted.

Remarks in the Approval Workflow

In a change proposal for a page, users can also add remarks within the approval workflow. These specifically relate to the approval of new content.

Difference from Comments

  • Remarks are communicated to the page owner, Key Users, and if applicable, the QMGroup.
  • They focus on approval-related topics, not general process information.
  • Remarks are listed in the page's history in the corresponding processing step.
