Module Generator: Components of the overview

The Overview is your central entry point for searching and opening elements in modules, as well as creating new elements.

Overview structure

In the module configuration, the Overview tab is divided into four sub-tabs:

Basics

Basic settings for the module:

• Restrict permissions to the entire module or specific module contents (see Rights management)
• Customize the module's text
• Options such as using templates or embedding the module in your personal page

Tabs

Configure the tabs for your module here.

Table

Define how the table is displayed within the tabs.

Filters

Optional filters for the overview.

Default components

When you create a custom module based on an empty configuration, a default tab and default table with the most commonly used settings are provided. A module cannot be activated and released without these basic components.
