Module Generator: Use attachments

Modified on Thu, 2 Apr at 4:20 PM

In the Module Generator, attachments are not collected centrally at the end of the page. Instead, you can add flexible attachment blocks wherever they make thematic or chronological sense. This gives you precise control over your documentation structure.

Overview

Each attachment block displays existing attachments as tiles. Each tile represents a file and shows its file type. When the attachment block is editable in your current status, you'll have options to upload new files.

Example of an attachment block with file tiles

Upload a file

You can upload files to an attachment block in two ways:

  • Using the upload tile: Click on the upload tile and select a file from your computer.
  • Via drag and drop: Drag files directly from your computer into the attachment block.

These options are available when the attachment block is editable in your current status.

Upload multiple files at once

You can upload multiple files simultaneously without any issues. A progress bar shows you how many attachments have already been processed and how many are still pending.
