Module Generator: Large text input

The large text field is a simple multi-line text editor in the Module Generator. Learn how to use it and what to keep in mind.

How it works

The large text field corresponds to the editor in the Processes area – but without the buttons for Save, Save Draft, and Cancel. Content is edited directly on the page.

Settings

The large text field only has the standard content block settings:

Content block name – Internal label for the block
Explanation on content block – Additional text for editors

Important: For technical reasons, you can only configure one large text field per module. If you need multiple multi-line fields, use Metadata blocks with the Text field field type instead.

Predefined content

You cannot add predefined content to the editor block in the configuration. To set a default, use the Templates feature instead.

Tip: With templates, you can create standard content that editors can quickly insert.
