With the Module Generator, you can convert a tested configuration into a usable module. This article explains how to proceed and what requirements must be met.
Prerequisites
- Your configuration has been thoroughly tested and checked for issues.
- You have an available module license (see note below).
Important – License Consumption: Once activated, the module will use one license from your module quota. If no free license is available, you must first either purchase a new license or archive an active module.
Activate Your Configuration
- Open the Module Generator and navigate to your configuration.
- Click the dropdown menu (Twisty) next to the Test Configuration button.
- Select Create Module.
- The system checks your configuration for critical errors.
- Errors found: The creation will be aborted and you'll receive troubleshooting guidance.
- No errors: The module is created and ready for use immediately.
Result
Your new module is now visible and usable for all users. You can integrate it directly into your business processes.
