Create content as PDF

Modified on Thu, 2 Apr at 4:18 PM

You can create PDFs from Q.wiki content using the print function in the three-dot menu. The print function uses your browser's built-in printing feature – the result depends on the web browser you're using and is continuously being improved by the manufacturers.

Tip: Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome typically provide the best print results.

The following information serves as guidance and may vary depending on your browser or become outdated.

About browser printing

Using browser printing, you can create PDF documents. Use the options Microsoft Print to PDF or Save as PDF to do this.

Using additional print settings

Under More settings, you can adjust various options such as:

  • Print background colors – this affects the highlighting of text.
  • Print headers and footers with additional information like page numbers or print date.
  • Reduce scaling to fit the printout on a single page.
  • Print the page in portrait or landscape orientation.

Adjusting font in headers and footers

You can adjust the font used in headers and footers in your browser settings. We recommend changing it to Arial so it harmonizes better with the Q.wiki font.
